How we compare and what to check
We compare advertised prices and distance to all confirmed destinations. Visit frequency matters, and average proximity is balanced with the person who is farthest away. If income was entered, complete options that cover housing and monthly reserves come first. Higher income never gives someone more weight in travel comparisons.
We do not invent common charges or locations. We compare current adverts in our index, which does not cover the whole market. The balance includes only the costs you entered, excluding moving, deposit, commission and upfront costs.
When working from home, check internet access, noise, natural light and a suitable work area with the advertiser. A bedroom count does not prove there is an office.
