Choose the make, model, year, and mileage, and we'll tell you how much they're asking. today For cars like yours, adjusted for mileage. It comes from current listings on Mercado Libre, Facebook Marketplace, and eight car dealership and classifieds websites that we read every day.
That's what it is asksIt's not what you're paid. If you sell to a car dealership that will take it, the offer will be lower than these numbers: they also have to sell it.
I chose the car on the left. For each model, we only show the years that have enough advertisements to give a number.
The models with the most ads today are Chevrolet Onix, Volkswagen Gol, Peugeot 208, Volkswagen Saveiro and Fiat Strada: for those the range is narrower.
How to calculate
- Current notices are taken from same model and year —or of the same version, engine and gearbox, if you choose it and there are enough ads— and you look at their prices: the median is the market price, and the fourth cheapest and the most expensive mark the range.
- These prices are adjusted for mileage based on market trends: for cars of the same make and year, every 10.000 km difference results in a 1,5% price reduction (median of 418 cohorts). The adjustment never exceeds 25%.
- The suggested prices are rounded to reflect market rates: six out of ten ads end in 900, 500 or 990.
- If there are fewer than 5 listings for the car, we don't give out a number. A made-up price is worse than no price at all.
- The same car published in several sources counts once, and ads with filler kilometers (111.111), in pesos or of declared crashes are excluded.
